Civil War Staff Field Officers Sword Saber
Civil war staff & field officers sword / saber. This is a civil awr staff & field officers sword and scabbard. The sword has a folding guard that is supposed to lock but does not. The blade is of diamond cross section and is very bright. No etching or maker mark. 29 inch blade. Plattnig loss near point. About 1/2 spot. Brass work is solid on blade but grip is a bit loose. Some light wear on grip. The scabbard is missing it's drag but otherwise in very nice condition! Marked 6. Lower ring has been moved upwards. Unconditionally guaranteed authentic!
